I have worked with clients from several countries including Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. I work primarily with adults. I have a special interest in psychotic disorders and depression.
I incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my practice. I actively attend various seminars and workshops relating to the above to keep abreast on the latest developments and to further hone my psychotherapy skills.
I believe that there is no one-size-fits all when it comes to therapy. My preferred approach is one that is tailored to my client in accordance with his/her needs.
The initial session will consist of gathering information from my client and getting to know them as well as collaborating on desired goals for my client. The following sessions will be geared towards achieving those goals. The sessions are also meant to serve as a safe space where you can freely express themselves without fear of judgment or breach of confidentiality.
I am also passionate about nutrition as the importance of the gut-mind axis cannot be overemphasised.
I can speak English and Malay.
