About Dr Joseph
Few psychiatrists have practised as far beyond the consulting room as Dr Joseph. Alongside his role as a senior lecturer at Taylor's University School of Medicine, he has worked extensively in the non-profit sector, including as a consultant for the Health Equities Initiative, an NGO providing care for refugees in Malaysia.
That work has taken him to some of the most demanding settings in the field: Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) Holland, assessments of psychiatric services in Iraq, and a role as mental health coordinator with the International Medical Corps in Jordan. Caring for people through crisis and displacement sharpens an eye for what truly matters in a presentation, and he brings that same expert, unhurried judgement to every client here.
His approach is brain-first: he looks carefully at the biological and neurological picture before anything else, so diagnosis is precise and treatment rests on solid clinical ground. For you, that means being properly understood, and a plan you can trust.
A senior lecturer at Taylor's University School of Medicine, with humanitarian experience across refugee health, MSF, and field missions in Iraq and Jordan.
