KC Chiang
Clinical Psychologist
A clinical psychologist who built a whole first career before this one, bringing that lived perspective, and a deep belief in second chances, to every session.
Solaris Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur
About KC
KC came to psychology in later life, after a first career as a certified public accountant, and counts it a privilege to journey with clients toward a better life. That second-chance perspective is exactly what many people need: living proof that change is possible at any stage, with particular reward in helping young adults find direction and self-acceptance.
Over more than ten years, KC has worked with clients of diverse backgrounds and nationalities (including from Australia, China and Indonesia), mainly adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, OCD, emotion dysregulation and chronic stress.
The work draws on family therapy, mindfulness-based approaches and sandplay therapy, grounded in a belief that loving relationships and time with the people who matter are central to a good life, and to lasting change.
Masters of Clinical Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Psychology (UKM), with family-therapy training in Rome. A full member of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology.
