About Dr Kushil
Dr Kushil is an experienced psychiatrist with more than twelve years in clinical practice, depth that brings calm and clarity when a child or family needs it most. Alongside her work at The Mind Faculty, she is a Clinical Associate Professor in Psychiatry at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.
She works with children, adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in younger clients: supporting autism, learning differences, and the depression and anxiety that so often accompany them, as well as more complex presentations. Her approach centres on accurate diagnosis, individualised treatment and steady therapeutic support, through comprehensive assessment, medication management and psychotherapy.
She works closely with the wider faculty (psychologists, therapists and fellow psychiatrists) so that each client receives joined-up, integrated support rather than care in isolation.
She is an active member of the Malaysian Psychiatric Association and serves on the membership committee of IACAPAP, alongside ongoing teaching and supervision.
MBBS (Manipal Academy of Higher Education), a Master of Psychological Medicine (Universiti Malaya) and a Diploma in Learning Disorder Management & Child Psychology. Registered with the MMC and the National Specialist Register.
