About Dr Pang
Few bring this depth of dedicated experience. Dr Pang holds a PhD in Special Education from Universiti Malaya and a Master in Special Needs from the University of Nottingham (Malaysia), and has spent twenty years working closely with individuals and families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Her work spans youth and adults, including those with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and Down syndrome. The approach is thoughtful, caring and strength-based, grounded in systemic intervention and self-advocacy. She starts from what's strong, not what's wrong.
She believes every person with an intellectual or developmental disability has their own potential. With understanding and the right support, they can meet life's challenges. First sessions are about gathering information, building trust and setting goals together, in a space free of judgement.
