Dr Isabel is a qualified and NSR registered Forensic Psychiatrist with expertise in conducting psychological assessments and formulating effective treatment plans for individuals involved in legal proceedings.

She is skilled in providing expert court testimony and collaborating with legal professionals to ensure informed decision making in the judicial system. Dr Isabel is dedicated to enhancing the mental health services within the justice system through advocacy and rights of all mentally ill individuals

    1.    Expertise in Psychiatric Assessment: Proficient in various assessment methods (clinical interviews, psychological assessment)
   2.    Expertise in evaluating testamentary capacity and providing reports for court purposes
   3.    Expertise in evaluating mental state, legal capacity and assessment of risk
   4.    A through understanding of relevant laws, legal precedents and standards of practice pertaining to mental heath and its application in the legal system in Malaysia
   5.    Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, prepare clear and concise reports for court and articulating findings in a legally sound method
   6.    Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex psychiatric and legal information to various diverse audiences (defense counsel / lawyers, public prosecutors, magistrates and High Court Judges
