Dr. Kushil is an experienced Psychiatrist with over 12 years of service in hospitals under the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia. She currently practises at The Mind Faculty and also serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in Psychiatry at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). She completed her MBBS at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and a Master of Psychological Medicine at Universiti Malaya (UM), and holds a Diploma in Learning Disorder Management & Child Psychology (CAE). She is fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council and listed on the National Specialist Registry.

 

Dr. Kushil works primarily with adolescents and adults, managing a wide range of mental health conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem and identity concerns, and more complex psychiatric conditions. Her clinical approach emphasizes accurate diagnosis, individualized treatment, and consistent therapeutic support through comprehensive assessments, medication management, and psychotherapy.

 

She is an active member of the Malaysian Psychiatric Association and serves on the Membership Committee of the International Association of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP), alongside her ongoing involvement in teaching, supervision, and professional development.
