About Me

I have had the opportunity to work with clients from diverse local and international
backgrounds, allowing me to gain valuable experience in addressing a wide range of
mental health concerns. My areas of expertise revolve around effectively managing
issues related to cognitive distortion, behavioral disorders, work stress, relationship
conflicts, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
I offer Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to corporations, providing essential
support to employees dealing with stress-related issues, workplace conflicts, trauma,
and performance challenges. I also conduct workshops and talks on topics related to
mental health management and coping skills training.
Additionally, I provide counseling services to academic institutions, assisting
adolescents and university students in coping with and overcoming stress, anxiety,
depression, motivational challenges, academic struggles, and relationship matters.

My approach to therapy

I collaborate closely with my clients to explore their existing thought patterns and
emotional struggles. Together, we develop effective strategies to alleviate stress and
enhance emotional well-being. My ultimate goal is to help clients navigate through
difficult issues, make informed decisions, acquire essential skills, and be accountable
for their own mental well-being.
To achieve these outcomes, I adopt an eclectic approach, drawing from various
therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy,
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Languages

I am fluent in English, Malay and Cantonese.
