Reena Clare
Art Psychotherapist
An art psychotherapist trained in London, using image and play to reach the feelings that words alone can't touch.
Solaris Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur
About Reena
Reena holds a Master's in Art Psychotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire and is a certified practitioner in Children's Accelerated Trauma Treatment. In London, she worked across the NHS, Westminster Arts, Kids Company and The European Reminiscence Network, to help people living with mental health conditions, special needs, bereavement, dementia, addiction and physical health conditions.
If you've ever struggled to put feelings into words, her work offers another way in. She believes art can articulate what we otherwise can't, using symbol and colour to move past black-and-white thinking, capture the texture of the inner world, and create a safe space to process trauma and reclaim play. The same approach extends to couples counselling, where making something together can open conversations words alone tend to stall, and to supporting healthy child development.
Sessions are tailored to your needs and goals: beginning with creative exercises, moving through a symbolic look at the artwork, and closing with solution-focused work, to help you gain a deeper understanding and a new perspective on what you're facing.
A Master's in Art Psychotherapy (University of Hertfordshire) and certified in Children's Accelerated Trauma Treatment, with clinical experience across the NHS and London arts and care organisations.
