About Me
I am a clinical psychologist who has been exposed to different setting of mental health
services for the past few years. During my practicum period and employment period, I had
the opportunity to work in a private center, non-government organization as well as the
government hospital with various individuals ranging from children, teenagers, adults and
older adults. During this period, I have conducted psychological assessment for children and
adults, as well as providing intervention for psychological disorders such as depressive
disorder, anxiety disorder, trauma-related disorder and personality disorders.
My main therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavourial Therapy (CBT), where I would work
collaboratively with clients to discover better adaptive way of thinking – to be better in
mental well-being and facilitating growth.
In addition, I aim to raise the mental health awareness in the community and break the stigma
of mental illnesses. I believe that by providing a safe, non-judgemental space for the clients
to express themselves would be the first step in the healing process.
I speak English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.
