About Me

My professional journey is characterized by a unique synthesis of high-performance sport and corporate experience. As a former national badminton player and coach within the national setup, and continuous improvement analyst with Shell, I have deep understanding of the pressures inherent in both athletic and corporate environments.

My practice is dedicated to providing mental health support, with a particular focus on athlete’s psychological needs—from performance enhancement to navigating personal challenges. I work with athletes with a distinct spectrum of mental health challenges, including performance anxiety, psychological burnout, the profound impact of injuries, eating disorders, post-career identity crises and personal challenges such as relationship and family issues, grief, addiction, personality and behavioral problems. Supporting athletes' mental health is not about making them "softer"; it's about making them healthier, more resilient, and sustainable.

In addition to working with athletes, I offer compassionate and evidence-based therapy to clients facing a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and career transitions. My practice is built on the belief that every person possesses an innate capacity for resilience and positive change. I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where we can collaboratively explore your challenges, whether you are navigating life transitions, managing anxiety and depression, processing grief, or seeking to improve your relationships and self-esteem.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing primarily on mindfulness and person-centred approach with evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Reality Therapy (RT). This allows me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and goals. Together, we will work to develop deeper self-awareness, cultivate practical coping strategies, and build a more fulfilling and values-driven life.

I am fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay.
